Honestly one of the main reasons I love Marvel 3 in particular is because of the over-the-top flavor and flashyness of the game. The announcer yelling "AIR COMBO!" "DARE TO BELIEVE YOU CAN SURVIVE!" "LIVE AND LET DIE, FIGHT!" really adds so much life to the game and makes it enjoyable and engaging even if you're getting your ass beat.

MvCi been created in somewhat serious tone of the MCU rather than off of Marvel comics; everything wasnt made to be so over the top like in the spirit of comics themselves. As a result I think the game is less fun to watch or participate in, even if the gameplay is sound.

A large appeal of video games is the extra attention to detail and flavor to make the game more engaging and interesting to the player, which previous Marvel games have done so much better than MvCi. Unsure of when people started caring about gameplay only and not the entire package, but for an immediate sequel MvCi is quite a step down from the full, flashy, insane package that was Marvel 3. I dont want to buy and subsequently dedicate my time to a game that doesn't look and feel awesome to be good at. Capcom can choke on my asshole.
