My hot take on the most recent balance update.

So in my opinion I believe Guntank was O.K. In the right hands during early GEVO. He could be practically a permanent MVP due to his unique utility set, such as 'aimbot' among other things. Definitely a valuable asset especially if 'matched' right on the team and against the enemy.

Then they practically added all the cheats to him for what I could only reason as a counter to Exia. Although among the early barbatos spam I'm sure Exia would have an interest in targetting guntank but I don't think that's a reason to go to the extreme. I believe the situation was more that the higher skill based players would pick exia and would beat the lower skill based players that would typically 'support' their team with guntank. Instead now we got the abomination that is what I call 'Cheattank'. In the right hands Guntank was already very capable in my opinion. No joke of a lie it was my second pick from Exia because it got damage DOWN. Aimbot, godmode charge (dom ult as a 10 sec cooldown), no head hitbox AND it benefits heavily from phantom hit reg around corners or 'wallhacks'.

NOW they want to nerf Exia on top of that? Like I'm for fixing the game but this is an indiciation of a mess rather than even a form of intuitive exploration and evolution of the mechanics. With the fact of the matter being that most of the matches already take place on Japan this has created a compounded mess in my opinion if my theory about their balancing strategies matches up. This has resulted in me being ESPECIALLY bitter towards any Guntank. Matchmaking on perma lag servers is tough enough to make you want to pick a hyper carry on purpose. Don't go and snipe people trying to carry their teams with this abomination lol. It's just poor taste among the issue pile. The root causes and the solutions are backwards here.

Who wants to que up the one mobile suit you can even pick to play and then get hammered by something that i could only refer to as "7v0.5 Japan only" gameplay lol. Like, it's like even if you were 'good' it wouldn't matter. My 4 cents.
