So this is my garbage neighbors' dog. I bought this house a couple years ago and it was nice, for awhile...last year, around the end of summer, this dog started up and it's been going on all the time for months. I can't walk in my previously peaceful back yard without this stupid doberman barking at me (RUH RUH RUH RUH) until I go inside. I can't be in my office doing anything without hearing this garbage, day or night (RUH RUH RUH RUH).

I love animals, but dogs are terrible pets for 90% of owners. My wife got a Dachshund a couple years ago and while he's a little shit he doesn't bother my neighbors and would be GONE the minute he started to. How hard is it to give a flying shit about the people around you? How can you think this sort of shit is okay?

This dog just sits around in a pen all day and night. Nobody ever comes outside and plays with him, he's like a shitty living security system for the people that live here and he isn't even good at that because he barks at fucking EVERYTHING.

At least my local Sheriff's office is sympathetic. The neighbors won't talk to me, won't listen to pleading notes I've dropped in their box, so I finally cracked and called the Sheriff out to listen to it themselves since we've got a county statute that blanket prohibits barking dogs that disturb neighbors. He offered to cite them or to write a report I can take with me to civil court to get an injunction and I chose the report. I'll be going tomorrow to the local magistrate court to get an injunction. The deputy told me if I need to call them back out they'll cite them for a several hundred dollar fine each time from now on since it's been documented. I'm so glad this department is sensible and actually willing to help!
