Is my life worth living?

Well, my Mom had pretty awesome advice for me when I was younger and always worried about "accomplishments".

Sounds colloquial, but she'd always respond with:

"Remember: we're human BEINGS, not human DOINGS."

In other words we have huge value merely because we exist, and we exist as a decent human being towards others.

You don't need to accomplish anything at all, in order to have value and be lovable.

All you have to do is just exist, and be there!

You're so young, so don't worry: you'll find people to become closer with as life unfolds.

And sure it's fun to strive for some achievements, and that's important, but succeed or not, in the end doesn't matter: because either way you are valuable and worthy of love.
