I really believe that they are targeting trans people who have the sort of anxiety that makes them believe they are disliked by their friends. I have buds (cis and trans) who really struggle with the worry that people 'secretly dislike' them. In reality, I have a friend who has gone from their 'feminine' birth name, to a masc name, back to their birth name, and our entire friendship group has respected that, because we're their fucking friends.

Your friends aren't fucking with you or lying to you. They care, unlike the motherfuckers who want to upset you and manipulate you to detransition.
