This is my London studio apartment

As someone who literally just moved into our first house yesterday I can say about 2 years.

We had a good sized 2 bedroom apartment where we are from for about 6 years. Moved to a new city for work and lived in a much smaller apartment for 2 years. Wasn't as small as OPs but only one bedroom and not a large living area. And yea it kinda sucks.

Having your own space is so nice. We are setting up a home office for my wife in the front room today. She works from home some days. Main bedroom has an en suite. Also has a spare bedroom so we can have family come stay. And a garage so I can finally get a new motorbike.

It cost way more than it should is the only downside. Saw a record of sale and it went for $120k 20 years ago. It was $620k.

My wages haven't increased by 5x in that time.
