Look...

We like Merula because she's mean, not because we believe she'll have "a redemption" and turn out to be a good person. Characters ain't gotta be "good people" to be liked or to be "good characters" even. And if y'all think we "excuse" her behavior, you're wrong about that one. She's a whole mess and that's why she's loved.

She's mean most of the time, hurts ppl's feelings, makes me think about what she says and on top of it all SHE'S ENTERTAINING! Merula is one of the few characters in this game that actually has a personality, brings the drama with her and stirs the pot! How in the hell can I despise her or possibly have any grudge against her?!
