My psychiatrist offices new policy on substances. My psych is 100% fine with me being on a benzo ambien and opioids and we’re safe. I’ve been seeing him for over 1.5 years and I’m worried he’s gonna be forced to taper my klonipin when it’s the bare minimum I need and I could benefit from a bit more.

Oh trust me I’ve brought up some very valid reasons on why what the poster is saying is just completely incorrect. Idk exactly what’s going on but something very fishy seems to be afoot because it’s like some of the simplest of questions stump the poster and I’m at the point as others stated. I wouldn’t be surprised if this is all for attention. Nobody and I mean nobody is just that ignorant to a substance that they are prescribed. I mean I think their on meds just not the meds that their saying they take. I’ve seen people ask questions like what the Manufacturer was that they had and other questions that are just normal questions that are very easy to answer if really on these meds. The poster was not able to answer ANY questions and got extremely defensive than either blocked the person or just wouldn’t answer them. Including me!!

I am a firm believer in scientific facts as well as basic Physiology, Psychology and all these posts lack any factual substance as well as show someone that is obsessed with certain medications. I just find it so odd because no one gets so obsessed when they have a prescription for these medications. A prime example would be that they are suffering from “KRATOM WITHDRAWALS” while using Oxycodone and Oxymorphone. It is just completely impossible to happen. After I explained in great detail the chemistry of the Brain and how these drugs work as to why they cannot have withdrawals to a substance that they are taking in bigger quantities.

It’s like it’s what the poster says or it’s not true. The true definition of Ignorance, Denial and a lack of a formal education especially on this topic of medications. Education that the doctor tells the patients and when someone is saying just such wild claims it really starts to show that all is not as it seems. I’ve read some really funny things that people have said and the answers they got would have your jaw hit the floor in shock due to just how ignorant and wrong the poster is. I don’t think I’ve read any posts where he’s answered anyone with a fact and refuses to admit he’s wrong. So with all this information I ask myself. What Doctor in their right mind or even a Quack would write controlled substances to someone with such a lack of understanding?

It amazes me on how ill informed he is about these compounds and their Lethality.
