I mean depends with ray tracing on off. As an example threw a few ray tracing games from Game Pass at it and doesn’t really hold up. As a few examples of random Game Pass games I threw at it that couldn’t hold up 60fps with ray tracing and DLSS on max settings neither Battlefield V or Doom Eternal could get there. Battlefield V doesn’t do DLSS at 3440x1440 which is part of it. Doom eternal was sometimes dropping below 40fps and wasn’t hitting 60 on average, though could on 1440p. Turning RT off it was fine. Both might just be game implementation but either way I don’t think it bodes super well for the future, especially for a few hundred dollars difference. I also have a 144hz monitor and it struggles to break 80fps again on most games. Again probably fine but for $200 more would prefer overhead when dropping an amount that is closer to a grand than $500. If I could have bought a 3070 for MSRP I think it would be fine. Given that it was $350 more than that for effectively the same card (3070ti isn’t really different from 3070 performance wise) it just isn’t worth it on that monitor. Ultrawide is such a tweener may as well step up to a card that is designed for 4k.
