When I find myself with very little to put aside for gold/silver what I do is I save up so I can make a purchase online to take benefit from both free shipping and some sort of spot or near spot deal. The hard part is that sometimes more than a few months will go by with little movement on the sellers end to setup sales close enough to spot IMO. So any way make a good purchase from either MonumentMetals (they post here about sales plenty lately), apmex (I hesitate because the prices are above avg imo but they set the standard in the many and diverse items often available), jmbullion (used to have good weekly sales, lately sorta meh not bad, meh, imo), boldpreciousmetals, ebay store items posted here by the main fellas here, Providentmetals, and findbullionprices.com.
