My store manager watches videos on their phone and they sit in the office all day or talk on the phone all the time. They refuse to help with truck. Thru make the SMIT do hard work as they sit in the office typing text messages out about MMC or whatever else there is going on. They tell us we are pretty much all not operating at capacity. They tell us we are all poorly trained and just not able to comprehend the business side of the company. Anything that happens is automatically all our fault. My SM is completely without blame no matter what goes wrong. They have told us to lock doors when suspected shop lifters are present. They also refuse to train any of the new hires. They only are at our store for a year to be promoted to DM. ( emerging leader program?) They have told us repeatedly how much they can’t wait to leave our store location. Any concerns we have go in one ear and out the other. We are told to not question anything asked of us. If we do (just for the purpose of trying to understand the task) we are chastised like small children . It’s pretty brutal at my store right now .
