My understanding is the Chiefs have potential interest in Leonard Fournette now that he's cleared waivers. The money would need to be right as he'd be backing up Clyde Edwards-Helaire, who has impressed considerably in training camp.

In a normal year id say youre absolutely right, but this is a pandemic year with a RB in Cook who is in a walk year, unhappy, and incredibly injury prone. So maybe he gets hurt, maybe just maybe he decides to opt out later on in hopes of saving his body, but no matter how you slice it you would be blindly optimistic, if not foolish to expect him to play all 16 games (or however many we make it through).

And if you knew today he was suspended or would miss even 2 games, you arent taking him over CEH, you arent even taking him in Round 1. So picking Dalvin Cook at 4 is a bet that everything we know about his injury history is a lie and that he will stay on the field.

The risk is high for both, and so is the upside. Personally, i lean CEH if im at 4 but im happy with either in the 7-12 range depending on who falls. But hey, thats my thinking, doesnt make me a shit fantasy player for seeing different angles.
