Need some guidance about recording setup options I have for Copyright Demos

you could, but youll likely get a better quality recording out of a direct signal due to subpar acoustics in whatever environment you plan on recording in. bonus points if you do both and layer them.

direct in...plug the guitar directly into the interface. switch the mode to “line” on the UA instead of “mic”, as opposed to recording it with a microphone, out loud, through your amp.

live recording...see second half of above statement.

if you dont know these terms you should read up on some recording basics before you dive in. you will have a less frustrating time in this undertaking if you have a grasp on the fundamentals. some good resources are soundonsound.org, sweetwater.com, gearslutz, izotope articles, etc

quality literature that every body interested in this stuff should read are Mixing Secrets for the Small Studio and the Mixing Engineers Handbook.

everybody.

good luck!
