Need some tobacco advice!

No one else has mentioned it yet, but I really, really enjoy FA Burley Tobacco. It's got that sharp, peppery flavor that I remember from, say, Coval Vapes' Blackjack, or ecBlend's Pipe Tobacco concoctions. That along with 7 Leaves is pretty much my standard mix.

I do a half-n-half mix of Burley and Flavor West's Coumarin Pipe Tobacco as well - allow me to explain. Coumarin was one of the first juices I ever vaped, ever. I loved it then because I hadn't been exposed to anything else yet. Now, however, I recognize it for the exact opposite of "bold tobacco." It's overbearingly light in and of itself, and that's probably why I was getting really shitty tasting juice when I ordered it from Mount Baker with seven additional flavor shots.

So I use it to my advantage. Burley has a stingy, peppery, I'd even say an "aggressive" flavor. A little dab will do ya. But I know that if I over-flavor with Burley and bring in a like or slightly less amount of that Coumarin, the two blend well. The Coumarin acts like a muffler almost, that's how I pictured it in my head anyways, but it muted the super-forward notes of the juice without adding a slight "cotton-y" sensation like Smooth has a tendency to do to me. The fact that it's still in the tobacco-spectrum doesn't add very much to the mix, the juice still ends up tasting very much like Burley Tobacco. Which is what I want sometimes, and sometimes I want something a little more bold.

Forgive the tangent, I just find one of the most absolutely appealing aspects of mixing my own juice is just how much control and ability for change I have at my beck and call. I can vape what I want, when I want, mix and alter and variate to degrees depending on my mood, or how sunny it is, or what I'll be doing that day.

So, anyways, there's a thing I've been rolling around in my head for a minute.
