We need to stop lying about job security, financial security, and openness in the ~STEM~ field

Cool if it’s true you are literally in the 99th percentile of salary from people with your general level of experience so how can you sit there and act like it’s even close to being representative of the normal average/median salaries in the area?

That’s the point I’m making. People cannot just “get highly specialize experience in a niche specialty” that’s the fuckin point lmao.

We shouldn’t have to be the 1 in 98,000 chance to earn a living wage for the level of education and experience we have, why is that so hard to comprehend?

I can’t just be in the right place at the right time all the time so I just land in a position that unfolds like yours. Idk how you can act like it happens all the time when it honestly doesn’t.
