We need your help! Looking for the community's input on info/guides you would like to see in this sub

I just read a post over in /r/personalfinance which effectively slammed high horse posters who give students with high debt and spending a really hard time for not living in the "real world" of personal finance.

So.

In a bid to give my input on digestible student orientated personal finance material, I give you College Info Geek.

Not only is Thomas Frank (the blog author) an adovator of personal finance management, he's an awesome teacher, youtuber and podcaster. His underlying focus is to speed up college workload, maximise output with good study habits and methods, getting these out of the way so to speak, allowing students to focus on extracurriculars, such as finding an internship, part-time job, building a career defining side project, all whilst managing your finance and living frugally.

To put this into perspective, his "essential books for students" is topped with 'Debt-Free U' where he states "This is the MOST IMPORTANT BOOK you can possibly read in preparation for college!" Speaking for itself really.

Not only are his principles on personal finance sound, he also co-hosts an easy listening podcast called "Listen Money Matters" which brings up the important issues people over in /r/personalfinance and here, badger on to students about.

I'd recommend his site to anyone, and have on several occasions, it's a great source for embedding useful and admirable habits as a student.

Best part - he's not a hypocrite, he's been there, got the "I'm in massive debt" t-shirt and got himself out of it, under the most plausible and 'doable by any student' circumstances.... being smart about time management, good study habits, then finding a job and having GRIT.
