Biden to ask supreme court to lift injunction

This is going to play our like the Hero's pay for Minnesotans.

The hero's act in MN was aiming first at the healthcare workers and its main goal was to declare healthcare workers hero's they made a huge deal out of healthcare workers in the beginning and middle but towards they end healthcare workers were minimalized as part of the pandemic crowd. I say that was unfair. I was a nurse during the early and mid and late pandemic if I would have gotten COVID I wouldn't have gone to a grocery clerk nor would I have gone to anyone but a healthcare professional for help. But each of those to declared themselves hero's would have gotten Covid they would have gone to a healthcare professional....I am not reducing the jobs of everyone during the Covid I am merely saying that because a few people whined about healthcare people getting paid some benefit, the benefit reduced to 1/3 of what it would have been if it was to be used for the healthcare worker. We health care workers were hero's w/i the pandemic but in the end we were regarded as anyone else. I am telling you what I went through during the pandemic as a healthcare profession is not at all the same as someone who was not in healthcare.

My point is that in the beginning there are all of these good intentions to help students but as time goes on the good intentions are getting broader aspects. Which students should be helped? No students after a certain date can be helped unless they do the Plan of 10 years at a non- profit facility or 5 years in a teacher plan. The plan does not make a lot of sense and it keeps getting broader and broader. It hurts me mentally it causes mistrust of what is said and promised it keeps getting broader to include more and more people. When people have been single parents holding down a multiple number of jobs just to keep paying rent and put food on the table and not being able to dish out that monthly money, they get behind and then comes default and then comes forbearance and when forbearance is done they recalculate your loan adding on all of the interest to the principle and your monthly payment gets bigger but year your only really paying on the interest because after 120 payments the principle is forgiven? It does not happen that way for thousands of people who have been waiting to be forgiven. Yes many have gotten discharged of their loans more than ever in the last few years. But so many more are waiting after 10 years some are 20 years or more. THE SYSTEM IS BROKEN forgiving student loans this year or next would help many but not the ones who have been slave to it for far too long. To me a single mom I went into default a few times and it raised my principle approx to 10000 more than what it originally was. I could have easily taken the easy way out and just stayed home with my two kids and had the state take care of me and get food stamps free insurance MN CARE, free rent, some monetary funds, believe me it was tempting but what would I have taught my kids. Because I would have had to quit my job in order to get help. I could have used help once in a while for sure. I glad I grew up in a family who taught me the value of working and paying for things that I owed or loans that I took out. My son owns his own business of landscaping and tree trimming and my daughter works every day at a full time position. They are both self sufficient and I am so proud of them. Life is not easy, most of the time it is hard, but that was life, you worked paid your bills and food and waited for the next paid check to get more food and pay more bills. Sad but not so sad because even though I went into default and I was threatened to have my wage garnished because they would call and call unless you were caught up and then you would have to call because you would wonder if all was going as planned. I had a list to take to the grocery store planned from what was on sale maybe at two stores within that town, between those two stores and the coupons I clipped I would plan our every meal until the next pay check based on how much I could spend.

I am just saying Biden did promise students forgiveness of 10-20,000 but it is my deepest prayers that those students are saving their money for when the government forbearance stops so they can pay it on their loans . I would have been so happy back then in the past, for a pause like the one that has been nearly 2 years long a break so that I could maybe somehow get a little ahead of the game. I hope some students do get some relief because student loans are one big hairy mobster after college. There is not enough education counseling and planning prior to college entry and basically there was not upon exit other than the fact they told me I d have to start paying it back in X amount of months. Up until I went to college at 19 my mom and dad paid the bills yes I had a job but no real commitment with my money. In the 80s there was not the information that is there today.

I don't like to doubt and I do not want to doubt that some forgiveness is likely I hope that some forgiveness will happen, but like during the pandemic when all healthcare workers were the hero's but then later everyone became the hero's (they were but not like healthcare workers). I am still at times tormented when thinking about all the people I seen pass away,

Don't be naïve about debt forgiveness, start putting money away every time your get paid so that went payments start you will have some money to throw at the principle if you have to, just in case or at least pay down debt of other kinds that yo may have. Looking back it was hard living paycheck to paycheck but was it worth working that hard? Every time I look at my kids and know they are working hard to, I say yes working paycheck to paycheck like a dog sometimes paid off bc every time I look at them and where they can be when they are my age I smile. If I knew then what I know now, well I would in fact do nearly everything a little bit better. But I can't so right now working hard paid off. No I am not super rich by any means, but I am a long way from where I was back then and I would give all that I have just to go back and raise my kids in that time all over again.

Don't believe 100 percent on things like loan forgiveness, believe in yourself because really you did borrow that money before you even heard about forgiveness. Use that 100% belief and believe in what you can do. (believe in GOD too if your a Christian, but if your not, why are you praying for student loans to be forgiven, Biden is not GOD) until it happens the go to work and put money away just in case but if you do get some forgiven youll be that much further ahead. TC.
