I'm surprised no-one has the potential paradox rob has already created, tho there are a few ways around it that don't boil down to "a wizard did it". For the sake of people who haven't watched season 1 episode 9 (The New Crew), s1e10 (The Silvermine Mountains) and s2e1 (Woodcarvers) completely i'll shield any spoilers:
["ok this is going to get complicated, but I'll try to explain: In the character creation, Rob mentions that both JO Krysstal and Micheal Langstrom will be in the campaign. Now the end of s1e9 included JO's death and the majority of the crew of the Bocoe being captured and taken to the Silvermine mountains, so we can assume tomorrow's campaign takes place before s1e9. In s1e10 we see the destruction of the Silvermine mountains when Golestandt the ageless awakes, so I assumed that the events of s1e9 took place before this as the Silvermine mountain prison is mentioned extensively in the end fight with Virgo and the Sunswords.
Now the paradox comes from the inclusion of Micheal Langstrom, as Rob said we'll see the version which has gone insane after the events of s2e1 which at the end turns out to happen immediately after the s1e10. So now we have this campaign set both before and after the the destruction of the Silvermine mountain.
OK so obvious ways out of this paradox, a wizard did it, one of these two characters is a believer (more likely JO Krysstal), JO didn't actually die in s1e9 or is ageless, micheal isn't insane yet and this happened long before s2e1, Golestandt went back to sleep like the big dragony cat he is and the Sunswords quickly set up a new mine, or maybe at the end of s1e9 Virgo was just a bit senile and forgot that the mine had been destroyed. All this could work, and I look forward to seeing how tomorrow's campaign turns out, but unless one of these things are brought up, there is already a paradox, and can be potentially more if any of these people die. I was waiting for season 2 to end before I finished a flow chart showing the different established time lines between all the campaigns, because while I love the interconnects... the more connects are made the more possible paradoxes can happen.
and now i just feel like a total nerd... whatever, hope tomorrow goes well.
