I'm so frieking angry at BioWare right now. They did this on purpose, and let community rip eachothers apart while sitting back watching. Must have been some pretty good popcorn. I have ZERO doubt that this was all a calculated act. I don't care if EA told them to do it or if they figured this out in their own pretty heads but it was all to lure in players who NEED the God-mode. They are well-aware that there are people, nowadays more than ever, who don't want to put any effort in anything. If they can have a "you win"-button, they will pay for it and actually feel they made every effort to win and are bad azz-players. This all CRAP was a trick to get those players in, like we wouldn't have them enough already. They knew that many people will subscribe only for a month, to get the Kofte. Give them a God-bot to carry them through and let them believe they actually played the game, and they will subscribe again when next episode comes. They must have known that giving op-companions prevent people from learning any mechanics, any skills needed for group-content, any skills needed for Alliance-grind.
Just look at the amount people being afraid they can't do the simple h2-weekly heroics from terminal when their god-bot-healer is weaker. They are easy, EASY! I'm levelling a sorc just by doing them, he begin to do them at lvl17 and doesn't do any story. And I don't put Khem Val to heal (no other comps either). I died...once, because I was run over when I was sleeping on front of my pc. He is now lvl40. Peole are hysteric about nonsense just because BioWare gave them a God-mode and they are now afraid they can't do without.
Developers can't be so much of an idiots they wouldn't understand what they were doing. They knew perfectly well what they were doing. They NEVER told us that companions will be turned to invinsible healing-killing-machines, it was a total surprise. None of us knew about it before the shit hit the fan. They have never before this even commented the issue in any way or form.
A calculating, manipulative act like this makes me see so much red. There is no way I can ever respect BioWare, even Korean gamecompanies have more integrity. At least they are openly greedy and don't hide it behind some golden BS about good intentions.
