New to Heroes of the Storm tips appreciated

Some random stuff that comes to mind: - Watch the minimap. Seriously. Being aware of what's happening outside of where you are is necessary. - Speaking of which - get used to playing with camera unlocked. Sometimes it's hard to guess by minimap alone if it's a small skirmish going on elsewhere on the map or a full-blown teamfight you should be running to help with. With unlocked camera you can quickly left-click on minimap to get a better view and then get back to your character by pressing space (pressing and holding space also highlights your character, can be usefull) - With a new hero play Co-op instead of Quick Match at least until level 4. For one you'll learn your character before going against live people who are always harder than AI, for other until level 4 you are talent gated which makes you weaker. - Map objectives are capital "I" Important. - Before level 10 it's probably better to sit in lanes and soak xp when you're not going after objectives. Afterwards sticking with team tends to be better most of the time. - Speaking of level 10 - if the enemy has reached it but your team didn't, avoid enemy heroes as if they had bubonic plague. - Lern to ping. Alt+click gives a quick ping with context depending on what you click on. Alt+hold down mouse button opens up radial menu. V+click calls for retreat. Pings also work on the minimap. - Don't give up. Comebacks are a thing. - Lastly word of wisdom learned while browsing the internet to learn more about HotS: If your team is doing something stupid and you know better... it still is probably better to go with them and stick together than try to do the right thing by your lonesome.
