NEW OR NEED HELP? Ask here! - ScA Daily Help Thread Feb 07, 2018

Hello SCA Comunity, I am so very thankful to have found you in the vast sea of subreddits! Before coming here I have no idea what a retinol is LOL..

I have always have dry and sensitive skin. I seldom have break outs or acnes, but serious dark eyecircles caused by allergies. Dryness, CC and filaments are problems I battle daily.. But, due to..lazyness and being broke, I have always only been following a minimal routine:

AM Wash with water Moisturize Hada-Labo Premium Hydration cream SPF after moisturizer settles Nivea Water gel SPF50

PM OCM Sometimes follow with a cleaser Curel Foam cleanser formulated for dry skin * Moisturizer *Hada-Labo Premium Hydration lotion & cream

Occasionally use sheet mask and rosehip oil from various Asian Brands.

My current routine seems to do an okay job in terms of moisturizing, but I do notice dryness after about 5-6 hours, as my make up start to crease and settle into fine lines under my eyes.. Also, after turning 27, I begin to notice a bit of puffiness/droppiness around the cheek and mouth area, and some more fine wrinkles..

Start to really feel the urgency of stepping up my skincare game here! I am mostly thinking of adding a vitamin C in the AM and an AHA (eg.alpha skin care 10%AHA Lotion) + aquaphor/vasline in the PM routine. And may be a rosewater spray in the middle of day?

Does this any make sense to you all? Is there anything I am missing? Should I use a retinol instead of these? Is there any reason to add a serum? All I know is that if I use anything too thick my skin doesn't like it..

These are all very new to me and I am a bit over excited LOL I need help before I go crazy and buy everthing on Amazon with my paycheck so.. Any advice from you all will be extremely helpful!

I live in HongKong currently so any products reasonably priced from Amazon/with international shipping or in the Asian market should be okay for me! Thanks SCA!
