I just came back from the dermatologist and he gave me two cremes for my acne: An antibiotic creme for the evening and a creme with benzoyl peroxide for the morning. He said I should stop my current routine so no essences, serums and cremes besides those two. He said the cleansers should be fine though.

I don't have super bad acne and it's mostly the chin and the forehead with some occasional outbreaks on the sides, I'm not sure if I should use the cremes only on the chin and forehead or on the sides too? Should I rather use my normal cremes for the sides?

And can I use my tinted day creme and some loose powder afterwards or should I stay away from any form of make up for now?

Oh and I also wonder if or when the acne comes back after the treatment? I mean it can't be that you use some creme(s) for a couple of weeks and then it's done and over with right?
