I've been having more issues with my (combination) skin ever since I moved across town last summer (still in the same US city though), and it's so frustrating. Before, I just had acne, but now I get dry patches and often red rash areas on my upper cheeks. When I leave town, my skin always gets better, and I can't for the life of me figure out why.

I just got back from being in Africa for a month (where I had no issues) and within 3 days, my skin is rough, dry, red on my cheeks, and itching like crazy. I did wear a new Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer one day, but I've never had allergy issues with makeup before to my knowledge, and the dryness/rashiness isn't new. My usual routine is a Cetaphil foam wash and Peter Thomas Roth water drench moisturizer day and night.

Any advice on what to do or where to start would be really appreciated. I feel like I'm losing it.
