Cuisine as culture is a shallow misguided interpretation by sheltered Whites.

If I go out today and eat hot dogs, bratwurst, or fish and chips, that doesn’t make me any more Anglo.

Culture is best defined as a set of attitudes and beliefs that the drive behavior and decisions of a group of people. For example, Americans greatly value individuality and freedom, and have an aversion to being seen as not-virtuous; East Asians value duty and family, and have an aversion to loss of face.

In this sense, the US fails drastically. The white majority refuses to acknowledge, much less accept, non-Western viewpoints, ideologies, and philosophies.
