This push from JYPE has such a schizo narrative around it, everyone is flipping out about the alleged racial makeup of the group and it's been a point of complaint for years. Everyone either wants an all Asian lineup or an all white lineup but nobody wants to look at the facts

The reality is that JYPE is going to include one winner from an American TV show they will host. That's one single idol of undetermined race plus the rest being handpicked from JYPE trainees, which are virtually all East Asian except for less than five hapas/SEAsians/anything else. It is impossible for the group to be all or even majority white unless JYPE picked up only white trainees since COVID started
