Newbie Tuesdays Weekly Discussion

Hey there. I've started playing HS in the past month (since the 1st week of the previous season). I wouldn't call myself clueless about the game, since I followed it and its meta somewhat closely since beta, and some of my over a decade of playing Magic does carry over, however I'd like some pointers towards non-aggro decks I could easily wrap around my collection (I've always had a strong preference for control, but midrange is fine).

I've been playing a lot of arena, and currently I'm soft-infinite. However, I've played little constructed. Since my 2 first legendaries were Dr. Boom and Antonidas (and I haven't bought any adventures, at least not yet), I made a Mech Mage deck, but since I strongly disliked its playstyle I mostly played ranked when I was 10-20 gold short of an arena entry. I got to rank 11 last season (I should've pushed for 10, but eh... as I said I really disliked the playstyle), and my goal is to (hopefully consistently) achieve rank 5 for the golden epic.

I haven't crafted anything yet, except for a few commons and rares for the Mech Mage deck (of which I already got duplicates, but I wanted something semi-viable quick). I'm currently sitting on 2690 dust, and I list below my legendaries and epics (unless explicitly marked, I have a single copy of the epics).
