A non-violent method to further eradicate religion is

In Germany, I would greatly appreciate it if we could give pre-school or kindergarten or however it's called in English back in the hands of the state, the same way our school system rests in the hand of the state, instead of the hands of the church. If my girlfriend wasn't a catholic on paper, she would have had great issues finding work in that sector, because most of them are either Catholic or Protestant and have that as an requirement - one even tried to get her to agree that she could not be in a relationship outside of marriage if she wanted to work there - I know that this would never have been enforceable and I don't even believe it's legal, but wtf.

Many schools still have basically mandatory Religion Class seperated by religion and denomination instead of the neutral subject Ethics, at least for the lower classes, and I just really don't like that. The whole point of our education system is that it was built up with the lessons we learned about extreme dogma during the Nazi period in mind, yet we still push religious dogma at our schools in the name of tolerance. But tolerating something does not mean that it has to be supported by the state. As a future teacher, that would be my two cents.
