Why not you are special?

1 of 7.85 billion people. A speck on a speck in a universe of specks. I am neither special nor not special. I am owed neither success nor disaster. Whether or not the world owes me anything is indifferent to me as well. The only thing that I would say that is owed to anyone is a basic level of respect from their fellow humans. This I believe is consistent with Stoic Cosmopolitanism. But I do not expect that the entire world would agree with this, so do not live as if it is owed to me.

That said I am curious to know why you think the world owes anyone success. And if 7.85 billion people are special, wouldn't that mean, as the kid from The Incredibles said, no one is special?
