I don’t know if this has been discussed, and it may just be my true crime-obsessed mind at work, but has anyone considered that Jaclyn may have like, “enabled” him? Yes, he’d struggled with addiction in the past, but he had gotten clean at some point. Then she started drinking heavily in his presence (wine nights with Jackie) and I just wonder if she didn’t sort of…allow or excuse his addiction once again because they could now afford for him to be an addict. Like, rather than focus on his health, she relished in the idea that she could support her husband’s drug habit. Does anyone see where I’m coming from…? Feel free to tell me I’m out of line!
