[Notice] 1.7 Update Details

Squad Leaders!

The final touches to Star Wars™: Force Arena 1.7 have been made, and we are finally ready to reveal the contents of it! We’ve added some new units, as well as some new convenient features too! We are also reworking the tiers, and improving the end of season rewards! Check out the details below!

■ Added 2 new units

  • [Common] Phoenix Squadron added.

  • Phoenix Squadron is unlocked at Rebel Bronzium Challenger (Tier 6)

  • [Rare] Imperial Guard Droid' added.

  • Additional information on the new units will be available soon.

Phoenix Squadron

Some of the earliest Rebellion fighters, the Phoenix Squad have long been some of the greatest A-Wing pilots in the galaxy. These seasoned veterans of the war possess not only superior piloting skills, they are also incredible fighters on the ground. The Phoenix Squadron is a tight knit team, and will always deploy as a 3. Their skills also complement each other to help bring knock the empire down a notch each time they engage.

▶Phoenix Squadron consists of 3 Pilots, Phoenix One, Phoenix Two, and Phoenix Three! ▶Phoenix One will be deployed first, and is then quickly accompanied by Phoenix Two and Three. ▶Phoenix One stands front and center with a shotgun like blaster that inflicts high damage to a large number of enemies ▶Phoenix Two and Three cover his flank with more traditional blaster support. ▶Phoenix Squadron is available at the new Tier 6.

Imperial Guard Droid

The Imperial Guard Droid is a walking death machine. Created to help mitigate the human cost of war, the Imperial Guard Droid is equipped with some of the most advanced targeting systems, allowing it to fire with deadly accuracy whilst still moving.

▶Due to the relative cost of producing them, they are still quite rare to see on the battlefield ▶His thick armor allows him to survive longer on the battlefield than other droids ▶Imperial Guard Droid is available at Empire Tier 1.

■Added "Mailbox"

The mailbox has been added! Event rewards and Season End Rewards will now be sent to your mailbox instead of opening automatically when you enter certain screens. A collect all function will also be added which will allow you to collect all rewards instantly. Any messages that you no longer want to keep can be instantly deleted by pressing the [x] button.

  • If you have the maximum amount of mails in your inbox, you will no longer receive messages.
  • Rewards collected from the inbox will be instantly added to your account.

  • Card Packs cannot be collected through the collect all feature, they need to be opened manually.

■1 vs 1 Rank Changes

We have adjusted the ranks that players can attain in the game. This means we have expanded the number of available tiers to 14! All players will have their tier adjusted to the new system in the next update. Every player will maintain their ranks and move accordingly. If your current Tier is higher than the new point bracket, you will be moved up into the next tier. In all other situations, you will move to a rank which matches your point total.

Ex.1: If you are in Durasteel (Tier 3) with 430 points, after the update your rank will become Carbonite (Tier 3 → Tier 3 with 1,000 points) Ex.2: If your previous points were 3,500 points, and you are in Aurodium (Tier 6), after the update you will be places in Chromium Challenger (Tier 8) with the same number of points

If you are in Kyber/Kyber Master, at the end of each season, your ranking will reset back to Kyber Challenger.

Card Unlock Changes Due to the further division of ranks, cards which are unlocked at certain tiers have had their tiers changed.

New Rewards Because we have added another 7 tiers, we are also adding another 7 tiers of rewards as well as introducing a new reward, Season Credits. These credits can be exchanged for some amazing items! Season Rewards will also be sent to your inbox, rather than opening automatically at the end of the season.

*Season Rewards will be sent to your mailbox at the end of each season.

■Season Shop

As mentioned in the season reward changes, the new Season Credits can be exchanged for some amazing items. After collecting your season rewards, you can head to the Shop to see what items are available. The Season Shop rewards change periodically and contain many different types of cards at varying prices. You can cause the shop to change immediately by using crystals.

  • Like single cards purchased for credits in the store, you can only purchase a certain amount of cards each time they appear.
  • Cards purchased are immediately added to your account.

■ Rank and UI change

We have added the ability to check your opponents ranking as you are entering the game.

Your opponents rank will now appear at the start of the game, and will also be displayed in your Battle Log screen. 2v2 games will not display ranks of the players.

■ Premium Booster unlock order function added

The Premium Booster now comes with a new ‘Unlock Order Function’. This function will allow you to queue up and automatically unlock new packs once the current pack has finished being unlocked. Players can set their own order or allow the ‘Auto’ function to determine the order based on when the card pack was attained. Card packs will still need to be opened once they have been unlocked.

※ If you cancel the unlock order, the auto reservation of the card pack is deleted from the waiting-line, and the order is changed in the order except the removed card pack.

■ Battle improvements

  • Unexpected unit overlapping issue has been resolved

  • Skills no longer go on cool down if the leader dies before the skill is completed.

  • Leader control has been improved. A new indicator has been added which will display the enemy position and which way your leader is facing. Leader skills will also automatically move to a nearby enemy on the screen if activated outside the range of a unit.

  • Deployable Structures will now display their range as you are placing them.

■ Convenience UI improved

  • A new notification has been added to indicate the reset of the guild mission.

  • Trade UI has been modified

■ Other improvements

  1. Play pack timer is now set at a fixed 24-hour schedule.

  2. Matchmaking adjusted for lower tiers to help avoid complete mismatches.

  3. Card Requests disappearing randomly has been fixed.

  4. Chat filters have been improved.

  5. Order of the Tutorial has been improved.
