Do you realise the conditions in which she said "no".

- She had a relatioship with other men, to which Jared consented.

- Jared initiated a relationship with Holly, and then Heidi said "no".

Even if Heidi had the best of intentions (not breaking up Holly and Ross), which is what Heidi claim, from Jared's POV it'd look very double standart-y, which is what he claims.

There is a reason to believe, Heidi was not well intentioned.

- Heidi also claimed Jared and Holly began sexual relations 6 months before "A statement"

- Holly/Ross divorce was annouced nearly 8 months before "A statement". It's fair to say Ross annouced his divorce with no spite (though that can be a PR move), so maybe Holly didn't cheat.

So here is a proposition of timeline: Jared started pursuing Holly while she was married, and Holly felt like she was no longer inlove with Ross and wouldn't be faithful and therefore divorced him, so she could pursue relations with Jared. We don't know where in this timeline did Heidi say "no", because she didn't date this claim.

This was not an apology on Jared side, it was his POV, because up to that point we only had Heidi's POV.

Let me reiterate for the billionth time: I am NOT CLAIMING JARED WAS IN THE RIGHT, but that there is a fair reason to believe that HEIDI WAS ALSO IN THE WRONG.
