Scully and her abduction/illness/Emily storyline. All of it.

Very annoyed with CSM's cryptic comments in SOME myth storylines about how deep this goes/You have no idea how close to the truth you are/you are on to something/The x-files are only the beginning/the x-files must continue (X), etc. Many many cryptic comments about this impending breakthrough that never seemed to materialize but was dangled before us week to week. I understand it's not a show for tidy resolution, but it seems like things were alluded to, built up, then dropped cold. More of a feeling like some lines/storylines were written just for the "You are so close..." statements for a grab at a suspense flavor. A big reason I'm a MOTW fan.
