If you're getting this message, you expressed an interest in my D&D 5th Edition game on Reddit either via the thread or via PM (sorry that this is a form response, but there's a bunch of stuff I'd like to cover and thought I'd write it up in one big response). I'll open with a TL;DR if you're just interested in the planning: I'd like to get together for a "session zero" to chat about character ideas, setting, play style, and just to meet you. I'm planning a trip to Cafe Mox (https://goo.gl/maps/sygo4vsmkdR2, https://www.moxboardinghouse.com/) this coming Wednesday (the 25th of July) at 6:30pm - the time that seems to be open for the most number of people. If you can't make it, that doesn't mean I wouldn't still like to game with you - it'll just let me decide which day to run the game on and get a sense of the style of game people would like to play.

Now for the less concrete stuff: "Hi, I'm John". I'm new to Seattle, but relatively old in Seattle compared to a lot of people it seems - I've been here about eighteen months
