Hey, my guy also got paired against Conan! (Had to sift through a bunch of Fullmetal Alchemist stuff to find a match-up for him, though. Dammit, Edward Elric, stealing my homeboy's name.)
I believe when they faced off in the comic book crossover (canon-ish, since Michael Moorcock had a hand in writing it) Elric of Melniboné and Conan the Barbarian found themselves pretty evenly matched before coming to terms and teaming up. In an all-out fight to the death, though, Elric should take it. Elric's demon-sword Stormbringer instantly kills any mortal being it so much as scathes, and he's a very high-level swordsman. Plus, Elric is canonically said to be "invincible among mortals." (Admittedly, this was after he had racked up quite a few kills, and he gets most of his physical combat power from the souls of his slain enemies. A case could be made that a mortal could defeat him if he was going into the fight unprepared and without any recent kills.) Elric's even managed to kill a god (a lesser fire deity) in single combat.
With prep? Given enough time, Elric's capable of some Dr. Strange-level magic. He should win 10/10.
Bloodlusted? A bloodlusted Elric pretty much implies Stormbringer is charged up, so Elric should win at least 9/10.
No prep, no bloodlust? I still don't see how Elric could lose to a mortal like Conan, but maybe I'm underestimating Conan. I know the Barbarian is no joke, and I know he has experience fighting magic-users, but I just don't think he has what it takes to bring Elric down. Elric has defeated entire armies with borderline-impromptu magic. I'm gonna say Elric at least 7/10.
No prep, no bloodlust, no gear? Conan 9.9/10. Elric sans Stormbringer is an invalid, and even before he got Stormbringer, he relied heavily on the Ring of Actorius to aid him in his magic. Any able-bodied adult should stand a good chance of beating Elric under these circumstances.
