riot normally allows premium tier skins to enter night market but they have been artificially increasing the tier of the 2.0 melees so they don't appear there.

like with the reaver karambit, all reaver 2.0 skins can be in night market but not karambit bc they increased the price of compared to reaver 1.0 knife.

probably doing it so people who only want the vandal+katana are more likely to buy the whole bundle since the katana is free in bundle but has increased price relative to the other skins. Also people won't be able to wait for it to appear in night market so no point in waiting, which combined with the above leads to more bundle sales.
