Overwatch and other games. .Why do we need support characters ?

Winning all the time is boring, losing all the time is demoralizing.

At the same time, the way that matchmaking tries to give you 50/50 now, I am not a fan of. It is nice to play less skilled players every once in awhile. It is nice to get a random skill assortment and adapt. If you are playing noobs, maybe switch to your worst 'loadout' or play in a really gimmicky way. Give them a chance and have some fun. If you are facing off against a better team, it is like you say, you put in the effort and actually learn and improve.

I am sure you already understand this based on your comments, but wanted to chime in. I think most people only realize this that have reached the skill level where dominating casuals is a choice. Because it gets really boring after awhile and you need to create your own fun.

I am stuck on this question, once you have 'mastered' a game and seen all there is to see. It is only mildly fun and there is nothing left you want to do. Why keep playing? As an extension, some of these games have really long and boring grinds to accomplish the things 'left that you want to do'. Which does give a reason to keep playing, but it mitigates enjoyment and creates a massive amount of suffering between any of these accomplishments to the point I feel like why bother. I quit these games, but I also feel this way about life (which I most definitely have not mastered, but have still hit this point).
