Red Steel 2 and its VR potential

Finding this thread 2 years later because I had the same thought. Red Steel 2 is one of my favorite games of all time, honestly the only game for the Wii that I felt actually made good use of the motion controls in a non-gimmick way. Not to mention the theme of a steampunk/cowboy/samurai world is just awesome. More recently Cyberpunk 2077 has scratched the same itch, and I'm hoping that eventual VR support for that game will bring back at least some of the amazing feel of playing Red Steel 2.

Still have art of Red Steel 2 on my wall (Along with obligatory katana and revolver) because of just how much of an impact the game had on me. For anyone who likes motion controls and wants to see them done well, pick up a copy of this game for the Wii. Even with the VR market expanding in recent years, I still haven't found this level of distinct and well polished sword combat anywhere.
