I have an acquaintance who knows laine quite well. That's all I will say. He knows people joke about Patriks video game usage, but he doesn't think people actually get how bad it is. He says Pat had admitted to him heshowed up to multiple game days last play offs on almost no sleep because he was up most of the night playing Fifa and fortnight. My friend says that when people thought Laine was playing hurt last playoffs it was actually basically the effects of a functional video game addiction.

Now this is one persons assessment of the situation, has anyone else heard this? I'm worried that Laine is kind of half assing his career. I know it is fucked up to say he is "only" a good player, but the kid could be great if he buckled down. I hope he figures it out in this play off.
