Plans for 2019 *MEGATHREAD*

For my 19 in 2019, I wanted to focus on products that are older in my collection, that I really want to force myself to use up this year, or say goodbye to at the end of the year. I feel like I should give these products a fair shot and get some good use out of them before tossing them.

  1. Rimmel Magnif'eyes Blush Edition - This is my least favorite palette in my collection. I bought it because of all the rave reviews, but the one I got was chalky and unpigmented. But there are 5-6 shimmers I enjoy, and I have been able to create some nice looks with a wet brush. So, I will try to use those shades as much as possible before decluttering this at the end of the year.
  2. Urban Decay Naked Basics - This is from... around 2013. I can't even look up the batch code because it's smudged off it's so old. But this palette has basically stayed untouched and the shadows have held up beautifully. This was one of my first purchases back when I was younger and thought that I should have makeup, but before I really started wearing and enjoying makeup, so I want to give it a chance.
  3. Julep Feels Like Velvet shadow duo in Fifth Avenue - Another purchase from around the same time, c. 2014. These are very boring as eyeshadow, but the gold shade is lovely as a highlighter and I've been using the peach to set my undereye.
  4. Urban Decay Naked Basics 24/7 dual-ended pencil in Venus and Crave - from 2013 and came with the palette - I'm going to try and use the white shimmer in my waterline, which I don't normally do, but I think it looks pretty.
  5. Stila Stay all day Liquid Liner - this is so old but it just refuses to die. I'm fascinated how much more use I can get out of it.
  6. Kat von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper mini size - I don't really enjoy this, but I would like to try to get some use out of it this year.
  7. Marc Jacobs Highliner gel pencil in Blacquer mini size - Same as above.
  8. Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion mini size - I never use eyeshadow primer - too lazy. Would like to commit to using this up to see if it changes how I feel.
  9. MAC Satin Lipstick in Twig
  10. MAC Matte Lipstick in Velvet Teddy - These MAC lipsticks are beautiful but they are the oldest in my collection and I'm going to try to pan them this year.
  11. Clinique Chubby Stick in Bountiful Blush
  12. Clinique Chubby Stick in Mega Melon - These are from when chubby sticks were still popular. But the formula has held up fine, and I'm going to try to get some use out of them this year before chucking them.
  13. Butter London Lippy Lip Gloss in Tickety Boo
  14. Butter London Lippy Lip Gloss in Whipped Berry - I think these have long been discontinued, but again, the formula has held up fine, so I'm going to try and use these up.
  15. Glossier Stretch Concealer in Medium - This is currently my least favorite concealer because it is so sheer and doesn't last well on me. But I'm hoping I will grow to appreciate it more with use and go for some more natural looks this year.
  16. L'Oreal LUMI Cushion Compact Foundation in W4 - Same as Glossier concealer - very natural and sheer
  17. BareMinerals Original Foundation in Medium Beige
  18. BareMinerals All over face color in Warmth mini size
  19. BareMinerals Mineral Veil mini size - these were gifted to me in a starter kit years and years ago. I've used them on and off over the years. I'm committing to really trying them out this year so I can decide if I should keep them or declutter them.

And of course, still working daily on panning my mascaras and Tarte paaarty :)
