Player Problem Megathread: Aug 21st - Aug 27th

I've been having problems with players DMing if I'm not quick enough to (read: don't instantly) respond to a question, either because of cross-talk or because I'm checking the rules on the question. It wouldn't usually bother me (I'm a first time DM and if you know the rules and wanna put in a word, awesome) except these are all also first time players and they DON'T know the rules and usually say the wrong check or call and then get annoyed when I correct it. I've been talking with them between sessions about this and this seems to be getting better but now there are certain players who decide my homebrew world doesn't let their characters have flashy or cool enough moments and they get disruptive contending THE WORLD. My in-between talks are usually me attempting to address how the players felt about the last session, how things went with their character, etc. But I'm starting to feel like I'm going to have to scrap my campaign and start over. Which kinda sucks, because I spent months building it with player feedback on what they wanted to see or experience.

That turned into a bit of a rant, sorry all. Just feeling a bit discouraged.
