Politics aside, is there anything Trump is doing very well?

You are choosing to be ignorant then. All of his policies work in one direction and you claim you can't infer from that what is driving them. They isn't some type of wisdom, that is willful ignorance.

And again you claim we are somehow irreplaceable, which is incredible naive, arrogant, and just plain foolish. We have been the cornerstone of global trade, largely due to the trade policies you think have been so bad for us. You are all for pointing the cannons of US policy at the very foundation of our global position, claiming that the position that is built upon it will save us. Just stupid.

I mean, if you somehow think raising tariffs on Canada (our closest and oldest ally) for literally no reason and with no inviting incident is some stroke of genius, and claim that the same event can't be described as alienating trading partners (they are a trading partner if that wasn't clear, and that action is alienating), then I guess I'm wasting my breath trying to get through your thick skull. And if you think a person's intent can't be inferred from their actions, I mean, that's just plain stupid.

All I can say is I'm glad I'm not your friend because you seem to condone treating friends like enemies.
