Oh around what my theory is why she feels she has to defend herself to get people to take her serious? That is just what I think might be going on that she deals with people being racist assholes towards her and this is a defence mechanism? I don't quite understand, racists exist, I thought that might be the reason she highlights being smart because she faced idiots online who treated her less then? That's how I understood the posts here highlighting how it's racist people treat her like she is dumb because she speaks AAVE which is a legitimate and correct form of English with their own set of grammar rules and words. Maybe I missed something? I think I have to stop posting in this sub, I just don't get what's happening in the USA and I am trying!
