Maybe, but the application of a fungicide will take care of that. Maybe the resolution of my screen is really high or something because the color of the damaged plant is less green than the surrounding plants. And when there is an established AV row, the landowner probably dies not want to start over with 1 plant or spend $1000 to replace with a similar plant.

I just thought, this could also be urine burn damage. I’ve seen these and box woods have similar decline patterns after a dog (it human) urinates on the plant.

The point is, we don’t know what we don’t know because we don’t have any background information, we only have 1 picture, and we don’t know the land history.

Best bet is to call a local ISA certified arborist. And have them look at it in person.
