  1. Right, the purpose of the tithe was to sustain the tribe of Levi, not enrichen it.

  2. 12 tribes gave one-tenth to one. Not 150 tribes gave to one, which is the case with these churches.

  3. Every tenth person who pays tithe in a church makes the pastor as rich as the average of the ten.

  4. Israel didnt pay taxes to the gov't like we do, yet the church demands 10% of gross income, then the government taxes us after that.

  5. Pastors are supposed to have their own jobs, like it was with the early church.

  6. Only traveling overseers were given donations, obviously, as they couldn't work, and no specific amount was asked. The at-home overseers had regular jobs.

Above is the God-given arrangement of the church. Any other way is untheocratic.
