Alright guys I’m not trying to get on the Crawford is shit train this is just my honest analyzes of what I have seen this in the past few games. If you like my opinion awesome if you think I’m completely wrong that’s ok too. First the defense has not been up to par lately and some of the core guys are having a bad year. Seabrook has been struggling lately and for the life of me I can’t figure out what has been going on with his play he just been “off”. When the defense is play like shit it reflects on to the goal tender in a very negative way. They goalie gets blamed for everything when some situations they have no control of. Second Rosival is still being Rosival. He’s hurt the Hawks so much the last few games with turnovers and downright stupid plays it’s embarrassing. Next Hawks are not nearly as stout on defense now as they were in past years. This comes back to Q’s mindset of how he sees the team. Q wants to Hawks to be a fast pace end to end team that does not make huge hits that wear the opposing team down. We don’t have anyone that will clear the crease in front of Crow which leads to him not being able to see shots and redirections that find their way into the back of the net. Hawks also don’t have the depth we expected at the start of the year. TVR would have been a great addition in the playoff but unfortunately, as we all know he got hurt just days before coming back to the Hawks. Cumiskey needs to play next game for Rosival this has to happen. Now back to Crawford. I love Crow he has carried us to a cup and in the past has played lights out, this year has not been the same for him. Ever since he injured himself while drunk at a concert he hasn’t look like Crow from the past that we all love. Now granted he has played great hockey this year and other times it looks like he does not give a fuck about hockey. These past two games against Nashville Crow has taken an absolute beating. 9 goals on 47 shots is inexcusable given it is not all Crawford’s fault as its really the defense as a wholes fault. I’m sure everyone that’s reading this knows where I’m going next. Darling should start next game. When Darling is in net the team magically plays better, the defensive play is alright but still needs a lot of work. I guess we will see what happens on Sunday who knows who’s right when it comes who to put in net but I would like to see a change with a goaltender that has been playing very good hockey when hes called upon.
