Official Staff Application - PotUp In-game name: StratifyFX Age: 14 Timezone: (UTC-05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada) Can you record with a decent amount of FPS (30+): Yes I can, I can go up to 500 FPS on Maximum settings on Minecraft Do you have a mic and are you willing to use out teamspeak often?: Yes, I have a Blue Snowball, and I am willing to use the teamspeak as often as I can How many hours can you contribute per day/week to helping/moderating?: I will contribute to moderating and helping the PotUp community as much as I can. It all depends. However, since it is March Break at the moment (March 6-23), I will be on PotUp everyday for 4-7 hours. But on normal school days, I can contribute 30-45 minutes everyday. I play football and hockey. On weekends (Friday-Sunday), I will be on for 4 hours in total. This game time is maximized to my limits. Are there some days you will be more active then others?: As I have mentioned from the previous question, I will be more active on the March Break (March 6-23), and if there are less homework (we usually don't get alot of homework, but alot of tests, and projects), I will be on for extra 1 hour. (Minimum word requirement: 150) Why do you think you should be staff on PotUP?: I think I should be a staff of PotUp not because I know all different kinds of hacks, or hacked clients, but of how trustworthy, honorable, and honest I am. If there were to be a situation where I caught my friend hacking on any game, I wouldn’t hide the fact that he is hacking, but I would report it right away, since it is the right thing to do. It’s not fair for my friend to hack while everyone plays normally. I don’t get my emotions caught up with my role and a job of being a staff of PotUp. I also honor those who play fairly, that are nice and understanding to others. There will be times where I go out of control, but I try to maintain myself and keep calm. I do not know how to explain myself as a trustworthy person until you’ve seen me act. To be honest, sometimes I am very immature, but when I tell myself to act like an elder, I do. I act maturely when I am trying to help the players of PotUp, but when I’m talking to friends, I feel it is okay to act a little immature depending on the situation. (No minimum word requirement) Do you have experience in the staff domain? Any popular servers?: To be honest, no. However I have been staff and a volunteer in most of the places I've worked in real life. I currently take job at Tim Hortons, and I am kind to others and appreciative of what others do. I get the same respect I show to others. (Minimum word requirement: 150) What do you prefer doing on our server and why? (PvP, chat monitoring, answering questions, etc.): I prefer to PvP, and answer other people’s questions in the chat. I don’t know why but I feel like answering other people’s questions are fun. I also like to monitor the chat, it doesn’t require any skill to answer questions or monitor the chat as long as you know what’s bad and what is right. The only skill you have to possess is having the knowledge of hacks. Again I don’t want to be a hypocrite and say you should choose me because I know all different kinds of hacks, but you should know how to catch hackers and people who are being disgraceful to the chat. An example would be spamming the chat, swearing too much, saying negative things in chat that might influence others in a bad way. These are just some of the ways of how people can be disgraceful to the chat. You don’t necessarily need to be on Minecraft to monitor the chat, but can use certain apps and websites through your mobile devices, like MineChat.
