I promised that I would enlist if Trump won, and yesterday I made that a reality. Ready to MAGA in the Marine Corps!

You can always use the GI Bill though. Truth be told I'm a little nervous because I only got my rate as kind of a guess. I got a 98 ASVAB but my color blindness DQd me from pretty much any job that needs near that score, including pretty much every job with a TS. I was offered a Yeoman type job and a job which works in the engine room of the ships. I've heard pretty bad things about the engineering jobs in the navy, but the ship time was only three months and I knew I would have to make sacrifices if I was even lucky enough to pass medical (surprised the doctor let me through) because I figured I'm lucky to be given any rates at all. I hope the Navy will still give me what I wanted out of it when I decided to join despite my job, and I'm gonna give my all to the Navy no matter what. People have told me it was dumb to join when I plan on going to college for STEM afterwards, but tbh i didn't enlist for the educational benefits or even career benefit. I enlisted to hopefully serve my country first and foremost, and hopefully become a better person ( and maybe see a few cool places if I get lucky)
