I don't think this is about being "closed minded about disabled people."

You're not wrong that a person may feel completely different if they found themself in this position, but you can't say many people wouldn't still rather die.

I'm not sure if I'd rather die, but I would absolutely not want to burden my parents and family like this. Now, I'm not making any judgements towards this person, that's just my own feeling.

I don't care how much my parents loved me, I don't care how "willing" they were to care for me like this, I absolutely would not want to put them through it because I know it would most definitely be a huge burden on their lives. I'd rather suffer a lower quality of life and in a long term care facility if anything, than allow my parents to take care of me like this. Despite what they would say.
