Quality of Life: Nepal vs US

all you see is that sweet 10% FD, used to think that way a long time ago but I can't liquidize my properties right now, because those are the ones that give me cash flow.

What will you do with that 10% return every year when your currency is pegged to the INR and the RBI is downing the interest so that they help their exports your 10% is worth less every year and your principal is also worth less every single year.

Americans wanting that return and the appetite for that risk would invest in the Gerogian Lari which has the same risks as the NPR, the primary reasons for holding their cash on USD is because it's stable and is safe.

The reasons I've had mine invested in real estate is because it gives a much higher stability than the NPR.

But you will only look at that 10% on your bank's website and whine about it on reddit even though you don't have any idea about the reality of it. Why would any business operate then? why would they invest money or even loan out money paying interests or invest on properties even when it's not their primary business if they could just invest their cash into FDs.
