What is the Best Diet?

Here is what I plan to achieve in next few months and make it permanent:

  1. Breakfast: 1 Egg/Sausage (veg or chicken or buff) every alternate day. Self made DIY muesli cooked in water and jaggery. Or Big glass of coffee with homemade bread and peanut butter. Monthly average budget: 1000 rupees.
  2. 12:00 pm lunch: Preferably dal/bhat and saag (1 bowl only). If not salad made of carrot, raddish, cucumber etc. Monthly average budget: 1500-2k.
  3. 4:00 pm snack: Homemade cookies/biscuits/cupcake with coffee or just munching it dry. Monthly average budget: 500 rupees
  4. Dinner: Lean buff meat with big bowl of daal, Or Roti and daal, Or soyabean tarkari and rice, Or, whatever mom cooks. Monthly average budget: 1500 to 3k rupees.

Total estimated budget: 4500 rupees to 8000 rupees per person.

Remember, I don't go to gym, I am not overweight, have fast metabolism, comes from lower middle class family, walks everywhere on foot (no bike) and in my 20s. Nothing fancy, just shrewd frugal planning.
